The brief

Nathan Yazbek is a hair artist with a serious competition record. He has won NSW Hairdresser of the Year twice and been nominated for Australian Hairdresser of the Year. He brings us in for most of the content around his personal brand.

Nathan is regularly invited to run educational and creative demonstrations on stage. He needed something to play before he walked out, so a room that had never met him already knew his history and his style.

Portrait photography

After winning NSW Hairdresser of the Year at the 2023 Australian Hair Industry Awards, Nathan ran Beyond The Lens, a workshop taking students through his creative process from first idea to final capture. These are the students' finished styles.
